Our last full day on the ship- after breakfast we went back to the room to pack. Went to the top deck to relax, then to the lounge for the disembarkation meeting. I stayed for George's talk on Holland's water management efforts, which was very interesting. Lunch was great- roast beef sandwich and apple torte, Kirk had mushroom soup and fish & chips.
Back on the top deck to enjoy the sun and view while we made a stop at Gorinckem to let people off for bike and barge excursions.

The ship then docked at Kinderdijk at 4:00 where we took a walking tour of windmills. There were 19 on site, we entered one where the owner answered questions about life in a windmill with very large families. We came back a little early to relax before dinner. The Captain's cocktail party before dinner had elaborate snacks and champagne. For dinner I had ribeye and Kirk had roast veal. The food has been so awesome all week- many choices and no complaints! After dinner we went back on the top deck to watch the ship go through a lock with 2 other boats.
